Fatima Prayer (O My Jesus)
The Fatima Prayer was taught by the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. This short but essential prayer is traditionally prayed after the Glory Be in each decade of the Rosary, asking Jesus for mercy and the salvation of souls.
✝Prayer Text
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen. (Additional Fatima Prayers:) Pardon Prayer (taught by the Angel of Peace): My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You. I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love You. Eucharistic Prayer (taught by the Angel of Peace): Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly and I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference with which He Himself is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners.
⏰When to Pray
Pray the Fatima Prayer after the Glory Be in each decade of the Rosary. The additional Fatima prayers can be prayed before the Blessed Sacrament, during Eucharistic Adoration, or as part of the First Saturday devotion requested by Our Lady of Fatima.
📖How to Pray
Add the Fatima Prayer to your Rosary after each Glory Be. When praying it, think of specific people who need God's mercy. Our Lady asked the Fatima children to offer sacrifices for sinners—consider what small sacrifice you can make today for the conversion of souls.
