According to the applicable data protection legislation, with particular reference to Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and the United Kingdom ("UK") GDPR (as defined in the UK Data Protection Act 2018) (together the "Privacy Legislation"), Enrich Tech, LLC, a Delaware-registered limited liability company with its principal office at 1401 21ST ST, STE R, Sacramento, CA 95811, U.S.A., in its capacity as data controller ("Company," "Data Controller," "we," "us," or "our"), intends to inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of your use of the Chatolic mobile applications (the "APP") and the related websites and services ("Services").
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of our End-User License Agreement ("EULA"). By using the APP and Services, you confirm your full acceptance of the EULA and acknowledge the contents of this policy. This policy applies to all individuals who install, use the APP and access its Services ("user" or "you"). We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
Information You Provide to Us. We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our Services, make a purchase, communicate with us via third-party social media sites, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, password, payment information (such as payment card numbers, which are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors), and any other information you choose to provide. When you use our AI-powered features, we collect the content of your conversations, prayer intentions, reflections, and other inputs you provide to our Services.
Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services. When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information about you, including: (a) Log Information: We collect log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services. (b) Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. (c) Usage Information: We collect information about your use of the Services, including the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities. (d) Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, including cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits.
Information We Collect from Other Sources. We may also obtain information about you from other sources and combine that with information we collect about you. For example, if you create or log into your account through a third-party social media service, we will have access to certain information from that service, such as your name and account information, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such service.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including to process transactions, send you related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices, and to send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages. We also use the information to respond to your comments, questions, and requests and provide customer service; to communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by us and others, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you; to monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of the Company and others; to personalize and improve the Services and provide advertisements, content, or features that match user profiles or interests; to facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards; to link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service; and to carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
Data Usage for Product Improvement and AI Training. We may use anonymized and de-identified data derived from your usage of the Services, including but not limited to conversations, interactions, and other inputs, to improve our products, develop new features, and train our artificial intelligence and machine learning models. This anonymized data cannot be linked back to you personally and may be retained indefinitely, including after you delete your account or terminate your use of the Services. By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to this use of anonymized data.
We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy: (a) With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, and customer support services; (b) In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process; (c) If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of us or others; (d) In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; (e) Between and among the Company and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership; and (f) With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it, or for other legitimate business purposes, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations. When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the type of products and services requested by or provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrollment with our products or services, the impact on the services we provide if we delete some information from or about you, mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations.
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no Internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and the Company, at all times.
Account Information. You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account or emailing us at privacy@chatolic.ai. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please email us at privacy@chatolic.ai, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except for anonymized data as described above and except where retention is required by law.
Cookies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
Promotional Communications. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Push Notifications. With your consent, we may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age as required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you are a California resident, you have certain rights with respect to your personal information pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA"). This section describes your CCPA rights and how to exercise them. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information over the past 12 months. You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of your CCPA privacy rights. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. To exercise your rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by emailing privacy@chatolic.ai. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have certain rights and protections under applicable law regarding the processing of your personal data. We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis for doing so, including where (a) you have given your consent; (b) the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract; (c) the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (d) the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of personal data. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also object to or request restriction of processing, or request portability of your personal data. The Company is headquartered in the United States, and we have operations and service providers in the United States and other countries. Therefore, we and our service providers may transfer your personal information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide levels of data protection that are equivalent to those of your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it, including through appropriate written data processing terms and/or data transfer agreements.
